Okay, first of all, you would think with the whole COPIC craze they'd add like a marker gallery or something >.> I always have to throw these types of things (colored pencils too) in mixed media and its really not...
Anyways, that said... I USED MY COPICS. ZOMG. I've only had them since like December but have only done like 4 drawings XD This actually as originally going to be a sketch of Hikiu, but it turned into Kizaero, and then when I redrew it to color on better paper (which I need to get actual marker paper. they bleed like crazy on bristol board) it turned into Haruto 0o So my friends, I present to you TCTNW's very own Haruto. Isn't she cute? She'll probably kick your ass though. God, I love her =3 sorry for the weird colors. I only have 12 copics, and I'm a blend freak, so I kinda go overboard with color theme. and I have to use pink for skin. just bear with me. yes, that was only done with 4 markers: vermillion, violet, prussian blue, and pink (and then black of course) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. yeah, like I siad, only 12. and that's really 11 because of black. and my red is like practically orange, my orange is flourescent, and my yellow is like radioactive XD but I make do. I'm looking forawrd to next year because the art teacher has a 72 set so I'm hoping to ask her to let me do a project with them XD I have enough to buy 72 set, actually, but 1) I'm not willing to part with that much money for markers and 2) I really want a camera, which is only $200 and more useful (in my opinion)

I tend to do better with fewer colors because it forces me to blend. if I try and use lots of colors I have no idea what I'm doing and it looks like parts of the picture don't belong D:
